Moby Dick presenta questa settimana l'album di debutto dei Rocket Juice and The Moon, una nuova super band formata da Damon Albarn, Flea dei Red Hot Chili Peppers e Tony Allen (storico batterista africano, già sodale di Fela Kuti), in uscita il 26 Marzo in tutto il mondo su Honest Jon's Records, la label privata di Albarn. Un disco caleidoscopico dove hi-life e juju music (generi di matrice africana) incontrano hip hop, soul, pop e rock.
Insieme a loro, fanno parte del progetto ospiti altrettanto illustri come Erykah Badu, la nuova star del Mali Fatoumata Diawara, il DJ techno deep Theo Parrish, l'Hipnotic Brass Ensemble (guidato da Phil Cohran della leggendaria Sun Ra Arkestra). L'album è stato masterizzato da Mark Ernestus, co-fondatore insieme a Moritz Von Oswald della Basic Channel di Berlino.
